The Museum of Russian Icons is a new art museum recently opened in Clinton, Massachusetts. Housing a collection of over 120 Russian icons from the 15th century to the present, this museum is the only one of its kind dedicated solely to Russian icons outside of Russia.

The Museum was established by Gordon Lankton, an industrialist and former president of Nypro Inc., a multinational contract manufacturer headquartered in Clinton.

The museum is housed in a 19th century renovated building overlooking Clinton’s historic Central Park. The building features state-of-the-art “green technology” including low voltage interior LED lighting and a solar collection energy system that yields much of the museum’s utility needs. The museum is entirely ADA accessible.
