Living Nativity at Overlook Farm

When: Saturday, December 8, 1:00 – 5:30 PM, and Sunday, December 9, 1:00 – 5:30 PM
Where: Overlook Farm at 216 Wachusett Street in Rutland, MA
Who: Open to the public.
Rutland, MA – The public is invited to the annual Living Nativity event at Overlook Farm in Rutland, Massachusetts, a Heifer International Learning Center. Living Nativity is a 20-minute performance complete with live actors and animals including cows, goats, sheep and a camel.
Witness the arrival of Wise men, shepherds, and Mary, Joseph and the Baby to the stable. The show is presented each hour in the barn (dress warmly) with the first show beginning at 1:00 pm and the last show beginning at 5:00 pm. After the show, enjoy sleigh or hayrides, Christmas carols, cookies and hot beverages. There will be opportunities to donate to Heifer International and to Overlook Farm, purchase alternative holiday gifts from Heifer and shop for fair-trade crafts from around the world.
Living Nativity is a free public event though everyone should bring a plate of cookies to share. Donations will be accepted to benefit the work of Heifer International and Overlook Farm.
