Mansfield, MA (September 17, 2007) – Randy Miller, General Manager and Principal of Northeast Data Destruction, Mansfield, MA, and Brian Johnson, President of Doc Shredding located in Stoughton, MA, announce a merger of their two companies.

This merger will create a new entity, Northeast Data Destruction, LLC, that will become a leading full service provider of secure document and media destruction. This new company will offer both on site shredding, utilizing mobile vehicles, and off site shredding at their secure shredding facility. Additional services include hard drive destruction, and asset management comprising of decommissioning and recycling of electronic components and material recycling services.

“This will allow us to provide a complete and comprehensive list of secure client services, eliminating the need to involve various vendors” stated Randy Miller. “Our combined expertise in the field of on site and off site document destruction, as well as recycling and material recovery, will support clients with multiple requirements. Further, it will allow our clients to not only efficiently and securely dispose of confidential documents, files, and media, but also allow for cost effective recycling of electronics and other items typically generated in an office environment.”

“We will offer not only confidential destruction, but also a “green and environmentally friendly alternative” for companies looking to properly dispose of electronics and recyclable materials. I don’t think there is a company that is addressing these comprehensive services” said Brian Johnson, President of Doc Shredding.

Mr. Johnson further states, “Our plan is to initially provide these expanded services to our current client base, and then expand to areas beyond the Northeast.”
